We have changed worlds, servers and sometimes names. The people are what kept us coming back.
RATL is a crew of MMO PvP veterans. We pick fights, wind up our rivals and turn questionable plans into good memories. We like winning. We also know how to laugh at a spectacular wipe. Behind the banners: friends, real-life meetups and a habit of answering when another Lapin needs a hand.

IT STARTS ON DAoC.
Before a shared banner, the group comes together on Dark Age of Camelot, under different guild names, in guilds that are not our own.
- BEFORE 2011
THE CREW TAKES SHAPE.
On Age of Conan, Chouwanga and Badnunurz meet in Arkenstone. Chouwanga also meets Sakia on Age of Conan. FAT BASTARDZ follows, then Rift. The crew keeps growing.

A NAME. A FOUNDING CREW.
Rage Against the Lapines takes its name around the founding crew, including Sakia and Nurz. The name comes from Sar and Entha, ahead of SWTOR.

TERA. AND TROUBLE.
Open-world fights, rival guilds and video evidence. The Lapins do not come quietly.

VIZUNAH. EUROPE’S NUMBER ONE.
On Guild Wars 2, War Legend invites RATL into the French alliance on Vizunah Square. Together, the alliance keeps the server at the top of Europe for months. The Lapins play their part.

AZEROTH. UNDER OUR OWN BANNER.
A brief spell on Mists of Pandaria, then into Warlords of Draenor at launch under the RATL banner.
- 2013–2014
EVE. TEACHING PEOPLE TO GET BLOWN UP PROPERLY.
Chouwanga and Fury had already spent enough years in EVE to qualify as proper bittervets. RATL became heavily focused on teaching PvP: grab the new guys, hand them ships, take them out to get exploded, and hope they come back slightly less terrible. Around the same time, we took Krayn out for his first PvP runs for Looking For Games . Then came factional warfare, null-sec and far too many hours defending pixels like they paid a pension.

RAGE AGAINST THE GM.
Meanwhile on Black Desert Online, a small crew becomes RATGM: guild-leader hunts, ambushes and a healthy collection of our own fails.

BACK TO THE FRONT.
The guild rallies again on WoW FOREVER. Faction undecided, currently leaning Horde. Old friends, new recruits, and a taste for world PvP.

“We got scammed by the FBI.” Lapin shorthand for losing a pile of Chouwanga and Fury’s PvP videos when Megaupload shut down during the Kim Dotcom affair. This compilation is what survived. Some of our finest troublemaking is missing.
